A little bit about Daisy

Daisy studies at the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid with Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martínez Tos. She is very grateful to be supported by the Countess of Munster and Craxton Trusts. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a first class degree where she studied with Karen Jones and Michael Cox. She won a Yamaha Flute Scholarship in 2026 and was a BBC Young Musician Woodwind Finalist 2020. She has won many international and national competitions, including First Prize in the Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition 2021.

She has performed as a soloist with the Aarhus Symfoniorkester, London Mozart Players and has performed at numerous venues in the UK including Glyndebourne and St John’s Smith Square, London. She works with her harp trio, the Orion Trio and her wind quintet, Quintessential. She’s performed professionally with the Ulster Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, Knussen Chamber Orchestra and performed with the Riot Ensemble at the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Prize Ceremony in May. She was principal flute of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in 2021.

7pm – Herkules Hall, Munich  
Riot Ensemble perform in the prize ceremony for the Ernst von Siemens Music Prize. Works by Ashkan Behzadi, Bastien David and Kristine Tjøgersen. Conducted by Aaron Holloway-Nahum.

7:30pm – Musikhuset Aarhus, Denmark  
Concerto with the Aarhus Symfoniorkester, performing Sylvie Bodorová’s Transflautato. Soloist Daisy Noton. Conducted by Ondřej Soukup.
