Daisy studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Karen Jones. She was a semi finalist in the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition in 2025 and was a BBC Young Musician Woodwind Finalist 2020. She has won many international and national competitions, including First Prize in the Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition 2021.
She has performed as a soloist with the London Mozart Players, Sussex Concert Orchestra and has performed at numerous venues in the UK including Glyndebourne and St John’s Smith Square, London. She works regularly with her harp trio, the Orion Trio and her wind quintet, Quintessential. She’s performed professionally with Pegasus Opera, Southbank Sinfonia, Knussen Chamber Orchestra and is excited to be performing with the Riot Ensemble at the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation Prize Ceremony in May. She regularly performs with the Hastings Philharmonic. She was principal flute of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain in 2021 and in 2018 was principal flute of the International Composer’s Festival Orchestra.
